Services We Offer
SSS provides academic advising and assistance with degree planning throughout the semester. SSS staff can help you with:

SSS provides FREE tutoring in selected math, science and English courses on both the Shoals and Phil Campbell campuses. A detailed schedule will be provided to our students each semester. SSS may refer a student to the Math or English Lab when SSS tutoring sessions do not meet the student’s needs.
SSS Computer Lab
SSS participants have access to the SSS Computer Lab on the Shoals and Phil Campbell campuses. Computers in this lab may be used on a first-come, first-served basis and for academic purposes only. Visit the SSS office on either campus to learn about lab availability.
Career and Interest Inventories
Having trouble deciding what you want to be when you grow up? SSS offers the Myers-Brigg Interest Inventory and the Self-Directed Search to help students explore and identify career options. These inventories are given several times a year in a workshop setting, or students may call the office to make a private appointment.
